MJ HOUSE

Casa MJ is the dream of Marta and Julio, it is a reflection of their dynamic character, but at the same time settled. Thus the construction is articulated from the structure. A large sheet of concrete is folded in perpendicular directions to offer an involute to the volumes that vibrate inside.

This makes it possible to offer a program that is not conditioned by the structure, with rooms that can be expanded in the future. This massive involute system is strategically composed to open the construction to the views that are important to the project, managing to frame landscapes in different directions.

The chromaticism of the construction evokes the dominant stone colors of the surrounding landscape, the stone and the earth, mimicking each other and achieving a harmonious relationship between them.
